Hi and welcome or welcome back whichever one may apply. I decided to give this whole blog thing a try again. You know already add another thing to my already busy schedule, haha…I will try to promise one thing, to at least post once a month. My post will range from what is going on with our family, our favorite recipes, crafts or just fun random things. I hope that you enjoy.
For our first post I will give you an update from the past year. After years and years of trying to find a good fit for a job, Jeramie finally found one, with a great company! We are so happy and proud of him and so happy to have him back on the weekends and at a normal hour at night during the weekdays. As well we welcomed a few new family members to our family. One very important one was our son, Athens, who was born on May 21. Jeramie is so excited to have a boy in our family filled with all girls. He is a great baby and his sisters love having a baby brother! He gets lots of kisses and hugs!!! Soon after the birth of our son, we moved to my dads house in Mason for the summer. We were hoping to be in our new home but were unable to close in time. With that, our family lived in two separate parts of the state until we could close, as it was too far of a commute for Jeramie on a daily basis. This was a very tough separation, especially since we had a newborn. But we were able to spend some very special quality time with my dad. We finally closed on our house in late July and were able to move back to the area in mid August. We were so happy to finally find a house to settle in and raise our newly expanded family. We moved about 40 minutes from where we lived before and were able to gain some property and privacy with the new house! Which created space for our other addition to the family, our family dog, Jake. Jake is a German Sheppard and is a great addition and family protector already. Well that is about the completion of 2011. We had a great year and hope that 2012 is just is great to us.
